WEB Kane honoured at Wembley
Tottenham Hotspur will play their Champions League home games at Wembley next season
England striker Harry Kane has been honoured with a mural at Wembley Stadium.
The artwork was unveiled on Sunday at the stadium where Kane has scored a record 49 goals for Tottenham Hotspur. The mural, which is part of the club's 'Legends of Tottenham' campaign, celebrates Kane's contribution to the club and his status as one of England's greatest ever players. Kane, who is Spurs' all-time top goalscorer, said: "It's an incredible honour to have a mural at Wembley Stadium. "It's a special place for me and I've had some amazing moments here. I'm so grateful to the club for this honour and I hope it inspires future generations of Spurs fans." Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said: "Harry is a true legend of Tottenham Hotspur and we are delighted to honour him with this mural at Wembley Stadium. "He is one of the greatest players in the world and he has been an incredible ambassador for our club. "We are proud to have him as a part of our history and we believe that this mural will be a fitting tribute to his achievements."
